Dean Jones criticized Australian Cricket Team

Dean Jones criticized Australian Cricket Team

Australian former cricket player Dean Jones criticizes Australian players for their poor performance against India.  He feels Australians are looking ragged and under-prepared for the four-Test series.

Dean Jones said that, "Australian player’s preparation has been adequate and just a couple of day’s games are not enough for a series in India. They have to prepare for at least a couple of weeks or at least three first class matches before the first Test. Australian batsmen had a lot to learn from Pujara and Vijay. Both of them played well and their performance was amazing. I hope that the Australian batsmen watched how these two players made their jobs very well. The Australian batsmen should go hard too early into the innings instead of just being patient”.

He also added that, “Pujara and Vijay had a second wicket stand of 294 runs which was 57 more than what nine Australian batsmen put on as a team. Michael Clarke (91) and Matthew Wade (62) were the only two batsmen who had showed some application. I think it was one of the best learning episodes for the Australian cricket on how you go about making runs in India".

Geoffrey Boycott criticizes Indian Cricket Team

In a recent interview Geoffrey boycott the former England opening batsman criticizes Indian bowling. He said that, “In a recent Test series England defeated India by 2-1. Australia also has a possibility to overtake India in the upcoming test. Indian bowling is very poor, even my mother too faces Indian bowling easily and my grandma also waiting in queue. If Australia would just play a bit well then they can easily win over the match against India.

He also added that, “In the last test match against England team, sometimes it was very pity to see Indian bating. Now Gautam Gambhir gets out of the team and sehwag return back to the team. We are eager to see Sachin’s century. It was interesting to hear that Sachin score century in Ranji trophy. But test match is totally different from Ranji so we have to wait and see how Sachin is going to face this match. Indian bowling is in a very weak condition. Harbajan Singh got a chance to play against Australia. His bowling is good but none of them doesn’t assure about it. Indian spinners are like cats, there is no threat from them. India must win the match otherwise crisis will take hold on India”.
